Jason Stopa

I'm dressed to match Jason Stopa's painting, "Red Cup, Ice," from 2014. This is one of three NEW matches I've created in partnership with Manetti Shrem Museum at UC Davis to promote their current exhibition, "Wayne Thiebaud Influencer: A New Generation!"

This series is very dear to me and was especially exciting to create because I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Art History in 2010 Many of you know that Wayne Thiebaud is my favorite artist and much of that is due to the fact that I was fortunate enough to take the final class he taught at UCDavis: "ART 148: Theory and Criticism: Painting and Sculpture."

Though I only spent one quarter in Wayne's classroom, I'm honored to help celebrate his enduring legacy through this series. "Wayne Thiebaud Influencer: A New Generation" features 19 contemporary artists whose work reflects the breadth of his influence. The exhibition is on view now through November 12, 2021.
