It’s not often that a brand will reach out to me with a “challenge” to find a match a match for an artful dress in their collection. One of my favorite and probably most featured brands on here, Milly, recently did just that!
Milly’s new Sketched Iris print is feminine, delicate and artful. It’s unique in that it is monochromatic and the graphite sketches add a simplicity that elevates the overall floral print in a new and unique way.
I paired the dress with a simple floral painting by Christina Baker, an artist we have previously shown at the gallery. Her latest collection of floral sketches are strikingly similar to the dress’ pattern and I’m so happy with how this match turned out. It’s always an honor to feature a brand I’m passionate about along with an artist whose work I genuinely love!
