I recently visited Austin, Texas for a best friend’s bachelorette party and happened to literally stumble (we might have had some drinks) on an amazing in-situ piece called “Hurlyburly” by Orly Genger in the Waller Creek park.
The piece itself is made out of recycled lobster rope and paint and spans a huge portion of the park. It almost looks like a giant sweater for the earth!
When we came upon the sculpture I happened to be wearing this comfy new chambray dress I recently picked up at Madewell and of course – I was dressed to match! I love the tie detail at the top and the loose fit, it’s ideal for travel! Until next time, Austin!
